Very Good

Great location, right beside London Eye, Sea-life Aquarium, 5mins walk to Big Ben, and all the amazing sites around it. Five mins walk to to the London bridge, another 5 mins to Tower bridge. You can literally tour the environs for 3 days and still have a satisfying visit. Two train stations (Westminster and Waterloo) are close-by for a trip to other parts of the city like West end. Breakfast was amazing, although not Buffet, you'd get the opportunity of ordering one hot plate and a cold plate. Friendly and helpful front-dest officers. They were warm and ready to help.

This is not really significant but the Hotel entrance, especially the walkway, could use a bit of facelift to make it more receptive and smart.

excellent!

Enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Fantastic location, walking distance to so many attractions and resturants. Bright and very clean swimming pool, opening hours from 6am to 10pm, which is great for morning workout and soak in the evening after long day out. Compliment to the staff at the entrance and front counter. I was late in returning to check out, contacted front desk to inform that i was lost and will be delayed. They are very understanding to grant complimentary extension, for which i am most grateful

The location and the overall impression was excellent, as was expected for this level of high standard hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also delicious.

We arrived a little before 3pm and the room was not ready, and we had to wait for another 30 minutes, which was a shame. However, they offered us free drinks at the bar while we were waiting.

Location and view were excellent. Staff were also very good.

Unless we joined Marriott reward club. Had to pay for wi-fi. Don't expect that at £700 per night. Had to chase housekeeping to get our room serviced. The bar isn't air conditioned and you can't sit outside, as the garden/terrace overlooking the river doesn't belong to the hotel. Also, there seemed to be a general shortage of advertised drinks. Went for the early check in offer, but only got in our room half an hour before normal check in, so not really worth the extra £50. Breakfast offerings were mediocre at best. Have enjoyed a lot better at hotels charging a quarter of the price.

Ordered wine and chocolate to be delivered to room as a surprise for my wife's birthday before arriving, wasn't there and had to go down to reception twice and ring twice from room .

Everything else was EXCELLENT! The food was simply outstanding. The staff was very attentive. The location was right in the center of all the major sites. Could not be a better place to stay.

I was promised a bath tub but ended with a shower only. Standard stupid phrase - all rooms are booked so nothing can be done.

Excellent customer service, ALL staff said good morning etc . Nice comfortable and friendly bar area for pre/post dinner drinks. All areas spotlessly clean. Lovely large shower and bathroom. The staff are the BEST thing about this hotel and I hope the management are aware of this.

Breakfast was ok but not the best spread for a 5*. There is a fitness centre but no spa treatments.

The shower was very nice as were the beds

The staff at breakfast didn’t seem to be very happy and every morning our table was left without cutlery and we were given pot of warm tea twice. Our bill was calculated wrong at check out and after 30 mins delay finally we had it corrected.

Extremely comfortable bed, room and bathroom. Only problem we encountered was we were unable to check in when we arrived at about 2.30, so left our luggage with receptionist and telephone number so we could be contacted when the room was available. We were contacted about 4.05 by which time we had gone into central London. We returned about 6.00, checked in and when we asked if our luggage would be in our room we were told it would be but it wasn’t. Tried phoning reception but no reply, necessitating another 200 step trip to the lift and back to reception. We had not been given a ticket by receptionist so had to accompany someone to the left luggage area to identify our luggage which was then brought to our room. Extremely comfortable bed, room and bathroom.
